A unique range of handcrafted clothing and accessories for women and children, created for you by Noemi Gregoire.
I started using a sewing machine age 12, tweaking, restyling and reconstructing clothing, finding an early route to what is now called Upcycling. After studying Art I began in earnest to deepen my skills and broaden my techniques, selling clothing through local shops and at festivals.
Finding my creations were in demand, I started to expand the business to include commissions and running workshops.

Noemi is the creative force behind this small ethical brand of Woman’s and Children’s clothing and accessories, made under the Upcycling banner.
Every piece of Nimpy clothing has travelled a unique creative journey in its making and embodies a deep sense of ingenuity.
Using techniques including felting, Nuno-felting, appliqué, patchwork and ingenious reconstruction, individually created garments no two are alike.
Nimpy items are made using a wide range of natural materials, the main emphasis being, hand in hand with style, to re-use and recycle fabric from many sources. This is key to Noemi in her work, as it honours and reflects the social, environmental and ethical issues that are integral to her way of life – so also to Nimpy Clothing.

Summer Collection
Using a combination of fine merino fleece and silk fibres integrated with thin loose cotton voil and muslin, Noemi has created nuno felted goddess dresses and light-weight waistcoats for special occasions.
Winter Collection
Made from quality remodeled woollens, the winter collection provides a wide choice of jumpers, cardigans, waistcoats, cashmere snoods, wrist warmers and hats to keep you stylish yet warm and cosy.
Babies' & Children’s Collection
Inspired by her own children and a need to dress them warmly, Noemi created a children’s range of upcycled knitwear. Using soft cashmere and lambswool she makes jumpers, cardigans, leggings and hats with colourful edging and fun motifs of nature and animals. Often these become kids’ favourites, and we receive replacement orders year after year! The children’s clothes are mostly now made-to-order.
Accessories
An ever changing array of scarves, bags and collectables compliment and enhance the whole Nimpy collection – there is always something to surprise and delight.
